Been looking at a different setup for heating my TC in cool days.

I have a Suburban propane heater that is one, a propane hog and two an electricity hog. I'd say more than 50% of the btu output goes out the exhaust. Great for cremating dauber nests in the exhaust pipe but not so great for propane usage.

Been looking at a Wave heater pretty hard. I can surface mount one and pick up all the space the Suburban takes up now and from what I read, the Wave is very efficient and it uses no electricity either (just like a Buddy Heater works).

Two things concern me. One, because it's a radiant heater, it warms objects so it needs to be pointed toward what you want to heat and Two is consumes oxygen as it operates, both concern me. Finally, I've read that the catalytic surface of the Wave is fragile and must be protected when not in use.

Anyone use one and if you do, what do you think about them?

I'd also consider a Truma unit but that would entail major surgery to the TC but would also eliminate my HWH which equates to even more space for storage.

The Wave seems much easier to install.
