I want to mount a new 22" LED on a swivel mount on the end of cabinet where there is a place for a small old school 9" tv fits in. and the stereo is flush mounted below that.
I am wondering if the cabinet is securely mounted and could hold the weight and not pull away from ceiling or wall. Anyone know or have done this type of mounting with or without a problem.

Its doable but you need to make sure you bolt the TV mount into something solid, preferably a stud in the wall if you can find one. Also make sure the TV is up against the cabinet and secured before moving, if its left to swing out and about it could tear the mount right out of the cabinet.

I mounted a 19" LCD TV onto a wall but found the stud to lag bolt the mount into. I also secure it against the wall before moving. I found that my cabinets have very thin double walls with the occasional stud. Not something I felt comfortable mounting a heavy TV to, but every camper is different.

I was going to mount to the cabinet but was going to fit a piece of plywood on inside of cabinet for strength but am wondering how secure the cabinets are to the wall and ceiling.
