I'm looking at purchasing a Lance 845 and there are a couple items I'm not sure about. The furnace is 18 x 1000 BTU and most campers I'm looking at are 30,000 BTU. Is 18,000 adequate. I have nothing to compare it to as I've never owed a camper before. Also the grey water capacity is 13 gal. Will we survive...or is this inadequate also? Thanks in advance.

I have a 2010 Arctic Fox 1140, their largest camper in size. That came standard with a 20,000 BTU furnace, and handles the TC verywell. I would think that an 18K unit in a smaller Lance would be sufficient.
I cant give much advice on the 13 gal gray tank. I am used to the larger waste tanks that AF uses. I would think if you watch your water usage, two people could atleast get a few days out of it. Showers inside the TC will fill it up the quickest. |
