Hi Campers,
The key to handle part on my truck camper does not work! but the lock part does! [ the sliding bolt, that moves back and forward]
My question is? is it a simple fix, or should I just buy a new lock?
I disassembled the lock, and couldn't find anything missing, or broken! The key would just turn, back and forward, silently as if there was nothing in there, is that normal, or should I have heard some type of noise?
I checked the internet, but can't seem to find a site that shows how those locks work.
Thanks again in advance for anyhelp you are able to give me.

Hi There Campers,
Have a question for you! What is the best type of roof rack
to install on my 2002 9' adventurer truck unsure.gif camper, and what is the best way to fix it down on the roof, so that is very secure?
Thanks in advance, for any help that you can throw my way!

Thanks for the information Tom, that was very helpful, it sounds like a lot of work, but obviously it is worth it? Thanks again.

Hi Camper owners, I;ve got a question, I'd like to put to you! How do you go about checking for water leaks? Can you put a vacumn cleaner inside the camper, and switch it to blowing mode, to force air inside ? then go round the windows, doors joints etc, with a liquid spray and hope to see bubbles if there are any? if anyone has done this I'd love to hear from you! or if there is a better way? Thanking you again, for your feedback.

Hi Campers,
I'm looking at an 2005 90w okanagan truck camper fully loaded, heated basement, ladder/roofrack, rear canopy, it is in ex condition, but no air, or tv antenna. They are asking $16,000 obo is that a good price or a bit high? I have just sold my trailer, and thinking of buying a camper, but I know nothing about them, so any feed back from you, would be much appreciated, for ex is it a good make, are there any downsides to it etc water leaks, or any things that I should look out for, any one out there that has one, or owned one, I would love to hear from you
Thanking you all in advance for your help Scottyquickfeet.

Hi there campers, has anybody out there imported a truck camper, from the usa into canada? I'm seriously thinking of doing just that! and would appreciate any information that you would have ,and could pass on to me! etc are there a lot of hurdles, like paper work, doing certain things ahead of time?
thanking you in advance, for any help that you can give me.

Hi There everybody,
Hope you can help me, beef up the suspension, on my '97 dodge 3/4 ton diesel, ext cab, long box. I can only legally carry 2189 lbs, and unfortunately, thats the dry weight of the campers I'm looking at! the palomino maverick 8801 for example, so what I thought I'd do is install a ''super spring'' or an extra ''leaf spring'' but I'm not sure which one would do a better job? also I'd like to install ''air bags'' or ''sumo springs airless air bags'' again I'm not sure which one would be better? so if anyone out there can put me on the right track, it would be much appreciated, and if there is anything else that would help me, that I haven't asked, please include it in your answer. Thanking you all in advance for your help.

I need your help, regarding, buying a tv antenna? at the moment, I can only get two channels if I'm lucky, and thats when I'm camping close to towns. my wind up and down tv antenna just doesn't seem to work for me? I've looked on the internet for tv antennas, but I don't know if I should go with an interior one, or an exterior one?The price range I was looking at was around $70 to $90 dollars.Has anyone out there had bad reception, and found a solution for it! hope you can help me, with this problem

thanks scottyquickfeet

Hi There Folks, out in camper land!

I have a 3/4 ex cab dodge diesel long bed truck with a 6.9 engine. and the truck weighs 6558 lbs. I'm looking for a camper that would fit on the back, but I'm stuck with a weight, of only 2242 pounds. I would like a 9' floor length, air, 2 batteries, 2 propane tanks, inside, and outside shower, ladder and roof rack, but, I can't seem to find a t ruck camper that would fit the weight I'm looking for? Am I dreaming ? or is there a camper out there, that would fit my needs?
I would also like a fibre glass shell, [no pop ups]
At the moment I'm towing a 5th wheel, but I've reached the stage where I'm ready to exchange it for a truck camper.
I am a brand new member, as of to-day [sunday] I found the web site by accident, and was very impressed with it!
Thanking you all in advance, for any help, that you are able to give me!
