We think we are ready for a truck camper after years in tents, vans, and a pop-up trailer. The one thing that troubles me is what appears to be the lack of nice, comfortable-its-raining-outside-and-I-want-to-stay-in-and-read seating. Does anyone make a camper with comfortable seats? Or, know of a way to retrofit with after market chairs or sofa?

in my opinion, compared to a tent or pop up, truck campers are an improvement in comfort tho hard to match a capt. chair in vans, some of those are like lay z boys...

I removed the dinette settees and drop down table,Very easy to do ,and replaced the table with a smaller fold down against the wall one, Not so easy,
For chairs I use two reclining lawn chairs, with cushions,Quite comfortable actually.
I had the lawn chairs but there are other options for chairs aut there.
Also I made a box type storage /end table that fits beside each chair and acts as a seat for company.
Have pictures if anyone is interested.
