Have a 2008 model 1191. love it. Took it to Alaska last summer for 3 months. Only thing we missed was a chair [ recliner ] to sit in. Use ours to pull a ski boat in Pa.

I just use the lower stableloads. Some times I unload the camper and sometimes not. All depends on the angle [ steepness ] of the ramp.

I have a 3500 DRW chevy with a Duramax and haul a Lance 1191. I put bags and Stable Loads on and they work fine together. Without Stable Loads on I never touched the overloads so the Stable Loads let me use my overload springs. It made a world of difference. We also haul a 21 foot ski boat. I use a 48 in ext on my supper hitch and it works fine.

QUOTE(UKYCAMPER @ Feb 16 2016, 10:46 AM)
New to truck camping so this one caught me by surprise - not the last surprise I'm sure. My truck camper blocks my SiriusXM "sharktooth" antenna on top of the cab on my GMC crew cab. I have been able to find YouTube vidoes to add an external magnetic mount for GMC up to 2014 model but I haven't been able to find anything on the 2015HD which seems to be a little different. If I could locate the XM receiver and know how how to get to it I could install the new magnetic mount antenna. I'm afraid to start prying on on dashboard panels to pop them out without knowing what I'm doing. Anybody done this on a 2015 Chevy/GMC?  mellow.gif

I have a 08 chevy with same problem. xm antenna is directly behind glovebox. you can push tab on top of glove box and it folds down. not sure yours is the same but worth a look

QUOTE(bwalton @ Mar 18 2016, 04:16 PM)
This may be a silly question but in looking at most of the floor plans for many different brands and models most with slides do not seem to allow access or use unless the slide(s) are out.  I did see one that said you could access the camper with the rear slide in but from the video it looked like you would have to be anorexic to get by.  Are there any models that allow easy access in and the use of the camper with the slides in ? Or is it more of a compromise, Have the extra space a slide gives but be prepared to always have to use it........

Thanks
Bill
