Found a good deal on a 2001 Elkhorn 9U the ? is will it fit and has anyone else tried it?

Is the camper made to be put on a short bed? If not, personally, I wouldn't try it because it's unlikely that the centers of gravity will match.

i know it has a 9' box my lance has a 8'6" box so i am really not sure and i can't find any info other than what the dealer tells me.

can't i change the CG by removing the generator and things around? i really have limited use for the generator .....rarely if ever actually.
