I just got a '97 F-350 dually for our Lance. It has stock tires on it and they are pretty narrow. I'm used to my old F-250 that had 12.5 inch tread width. Can I put fatter tires on the dually? I figure there is a limit because of the clearance between the duals in the rear but it looks like theres room to get a couple more inches of width in at least.

Anybody running bigger tires than the stock req?

Maybe, but remember tires bulge at the road and then more with weight. I would check with truck dealer/ tire dealer.

You sure don't want them to touch together while under load. This will cause sidewall to wear and pop. unsure.gif
