I have a 06 f-150 super crew with the short 5 1/2 ft box 5.4 tritan v-8. I made custom tie downs, and did a little suspension work. It drives nice, not under powered. It sticks out past the tail gate a bit but that doesnt affect handling. Its a work in progress and i have more custome work to do to the truck and camper, future plans are............air bag system, roof racks, off road lights on the camper, this is my home away from home when i go play. The palomino weighs in at 1280 loaded with propane, 18 gal of water, 70 pounds of food and junk for two 6' 4" guys going hunting. I debated on a smaller camper, but what this 8 ft pop up offers for room im happy i went this route.
