Recently purchased a 1974 Chinook Mobile Lodge TC. It has a rounded fiberglass capped roof -- this unit is CLEAN!
However -- I am trying to locate any information on it. I've been to Chinook's website, but that is mostly about the history of the company and the Toyota MH. Know anyone that has one that might be able to answer a few questions? Like, what the heck is that brass spigot on the back of the camper? I'd really be interested in an owner's manual. Thanks! |

Thank you so much for that information.
What we purchased is a Chinook slide in truck camper - the label on the back says Mobile Lodge. The closest I can come (going by the floor plan and what little literature there was with the camper) is that it may be a 1060 series truck camper. I've had a few people tell me that their parents used to have one, but I have not found any one who can tell me more about these truck campers. If anyone has experience with these vintage campers...? I should post pics when we get some of the updates done. |
