Truck and Camper Setup: 3500: air bags, happijac front and rear turnbuckles, class V hitch, Lance 1181 fully loaded

Buying our first Lance 1181 camper. We live in Georgia. Our insurance company is unsure of how this type of camper is categorized. They have made several phone calls to underwriters. Camper vs trailer vs travel trailer. It has no wheels but is also not permanently attached to the truck. Any input is appreciated.

I have my TC insured trough Progressive here in Wisconsin and I was told it is part of my vehicle when on the truck. My policy covers it when it is off the truck like storage in the driveway or when we unload it at a campground.

Type of Tiedowns used: custom turnbuckles
Truck and Camper Setup: right now i got a 8ft 1974 Sportsman by K-Z inc. im rebuilding on my 93 dodge dually, behind that i haul a converted 14ft. hard sided popup to haul my motorcycle and tools. its a moble shed

as long as my camper is on my truck its covered under my truck insurance, full coverage. if its sitting in my yard its covered under my home owners (same as a shed) if im at a campground and i unload its covered under my rv policy that i have for my bus. It was pretty confusing when i got my first one figuring out which policy would cover it and when. i had to make alot of phone calls to figure it all out.

We are insured through The Harford Insurance company through AARP. $8800.00 worth of insurance cost us $40.00. Doesn't get much cheaper than that.
