Favorite Truck Camper(s): looking for that
Type and Brand of Truck(s) Owned: 2020 GMC 2500 2023 GMC 3500 2004 1 ton 4x4 with 8.1l and Allison for sale
Type of Tiedowns used: none
Truck and Camper Setup: looking for camper for the 2023 GMC 3500HD

I am in the process of buying a slide in camper for my 2023 GMC 3500HD 4x4.
Looking for a camper with a slide out, dry bath, generator with a floor length of about 10' as I still want to pull a trailer.
I see the Arctic Fox 992 and the Lance 975 would fit the bill for me.

What other models/brands would be comparable to the 992 or 975?
It is overwhelming trying to find info out so I was hoping some seasoned members could do a solid for a guy looking to get into the truck camper movement.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks

I have a 2022 GMC 3500HD 4x4 hauling a 2020 Host Mammoth and can tow my 21 foot Bayliner Trophy or a utility trailer loaded with a motorcycle using a 4' stinger.

I tow with my Lance 1172. I currently flat tow the Jeep which is fine, but I use to tow that Jeep on a trailer. My truck 2011 RAM 3500 pulled it just fine, but with that 4 foot extension I as dragging the Jack on the trailer a lot. Flat tow is a little easier. I know you are probably pulling a regular trailer, but that four foot extension isn't big deal when done right. Also having he couch in the back of the 1172 is a game changer.

We recently went on a trip to Moab with a few friends and RV, ended up being 3 truck campers there including my 1172. That back slide in the back of my mine, gave so much more room and comfort compared to the other truck campers. It just didn't seem like a truck camper compared to the single slide units that were there.
