I would like to connect my laptop or pda to the internet in our camper, So we can continue our random journey better informed as we go.

Someone told us we can connect to the campers satelite dish.

Does anyone know how and what is required. We only need it for approx 4 weeks per year.

Cheers Ross

I think it takes a special dish and service to do that. I don't think you can use just a regular dish. Why not just go wireless?

Sprint & Verizon have Express cards (connect via USB) that provide internet access wherever phone service is available. Or if you have a cell phone that is capable of being used as a modem then you do not need the cards, just the service.
