water pump, How to get hand pump water system to wor

I have recently received an 85 perry valley camper. I have several questions. I filled the water tank up, but can not get the water to come out off the faucet. I have noticed a (what I beleive to be a water pump) next to the tank. the battery is 100% charged. Can anyone offer help?

If so then you may need to prime the pump to get it to pump water |
