I have some significant rust spots on my camper legs. Anybody have any suggestions to get it off before I repaint it?

Right now I’m using a Milwaukee hand drill with wire brushes… and it seems way underpowered….it’s taking too long and I’m struggling to get to the unrusted bear metal…..

I’m positive I’m missing the obvious, so let me know what you think!

If the legs are round, get a 2' piece of 1" welded chain, wrap around the leg once and pull each end back and forth gently at first then more aggressive as needed. Works way faster than wire brush.
