We just bought our first Truck Camper in August and have been at least once a month. We have just joined a club that has beach camping and fishing on two beautiful section of beach. I have seen many ideas for back porch’s and was wondering if you have any ideas and spec.

I have been looking at a 8x3 or an 8x4 porch. The structure would be 3x2 welded aluminum with 2x2 deck supports and a 3x3 square tube to tie end supports to with an expanded deck. This would be out of aluminum and fold up. All attached where the Fox landing is now.

I would greatly appreciate any ideas or comments from people who have built and use one today.

It sounds like you have a great Idea. I picture aircraft cable for cantilever support. PVC decking is really nice but heavy if weight is an issue. Hydraulic assist closing/dampening may be possible too.
Please post pictures of this cool mod!
