Last summer I hurt my back and had back surgery. I currently have Atwood 4 corner mechanical jacks and would love to upgrade to electric and I can't see purchasing the new ones for an older camper. Also after surgery funds are low. Does anyone have or know of anyone with a set of used electric jacks for sale? Thanks!

There was a set for $400.00 on craigslist a while back in So Cal

Well I picked it up and I did air the tires up some more.  Came back up the freeway, hit some side roads, tight turns, hills.  No probems except a tiny bit mushy on bumps....but I have 40lbs yet to go in the airbags.  Braking went just fine...but it is dry.  Wait till the wife loads up ;-)

I am worried about side sway. The are all e rated tires. I had no issues with the originals other than they seemed to hydro plane. Thanks

Has any one changed out the OEM sway bar on their F350 DWR and installed a Hellwig Big Wig bar? I'm wondering if its worth the money.

I run my e-rated Yokohamas at 80psi all around on my 02 F250 lwb crew 4x4 .
My Vanguard 9.5 is 3K dry . If I'm 60/40 and I take the 60% over the rear axle (with air bags) and each tire can handle 3500 lbs, am I on the right track with the air pressure or can I run lower psi ?? If I did , what would you predict might happen??

Thanks ,
Larry

I'm new here and undoubtedly there is a thread already somewhere, so bear with me please!  We want to get a solar panel to charge our battery while boon-docking for days at a time, especially in Baja and the western U.S.  There are a lot of panels out there, but we have heard from an rv repair guy that you need at least a 55W panel to "heat the battery up enough to accept a charge".  Can anyone enlighten me on this?  A less expensive panel would sure be nice but I want something that will work.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Put it on the roof.  Tie it down when you put it up there so you don't forget when you break camp.  Garbage is light, and it is about the only thing I have found works well to carry on the roof.

Put in in the bathroom till you see a trash can
that way you can wash the room next time you
take a shower

I am looking for a set of Lance camper locators. Does anyone know where to get such a thing? They make sure the camper is centered in the bed of the truck every time. They supposedly came as a kit but I haven't been able to locate them as of yet.

I've got a 2000 F250 Supercab V10, bed length approx 6.5". I'm interested in buying a used camper. I found an information sheet in my owners manual with instructions for camper loading/matching. Right above the instructions it says "YOUR PICKUP IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CARRYING SLIDE-IN CAMPERS". What's up with that? Do all pickup manufacturers say this just to cover themselves from liability? Please help, I'm itching to go camping!!

redo all the plumbing which was easy
with the stuff they sell now but that camper
was great sold it for $500 more than I
paid for it just look for leaks in plumbing
and all over inside keep an eye out for
wood rot and make should everything works
I learned alot from that first camper
