Favorite Truck Camper(s): whatever fits!
Type and Brand of Truck(s) Owned: dodge 3500 dually
Type of Tiedowns used: happijac
Truck and Camper Setup: yet to be determined

Greetings,
I have a 2005 Dodge 3500 dually. I am trying to buy a 2005 Northern Lite 9.6 camper that is a great deal. I purchased the Happijac swingout bracket extensions for the dually, but it still isn't wide enough. The rear wheels are almost 96 inches across. The space between the front jack legs is 96 inches. I am considering options including get some 1 inch metal pieces machined to further widen the space between the front jacks. Any other ideas? Anyone hear of this problem? Before buying the swing out brackets, I talked to 3 different RV dealerships who said it shouldnt be any problem fitting, but I guess they were wrong.

Thanks in advance

Wow, first time I have heard of that myself, that might work but you don't want to extend them out too far as this would most likely put a lot of extra strain on the screws JMO.
