Hello everyone! My family and I have just purchased a used 13' TC. We are do-it-yourselfers, but we need a little guidance.

1) Where can you find replacement circuit breakers for TCs? Camping World does NOT carry them.

2) I think we have a wiring "glitch" between the 2 front electric jacks. One works, the other does not. The switch is getting fire but the motor is not. The switch is on the driver's side jack (which works). It is the passenger side that does not. Any ideas?

3) I have seen a picture of an air up pillow that goes between the roof of the pickup and the overhang from the camper. I know this pillow is for support and I want one but I can't find one. I can't even find the name. Does anyone have any ideas about this? Or is there an alternative?

We love the camper and can't wait to get everything set up so we can take a long trip in it!! It is great that we can take the camper and the boat with one vehicle now!! biggrin.gif

Welcome to the world of Truck Campers!

What year/type of camper do you have? Does it take fuses other than standard auto fuses? My 1990 Lance takes standard auto fuses like you find in your car. You can find them at any auto parts store. If it doesn't take fuses like that, then I don't know.

It sounds like you either have a bad switch or a loose/broken wire. Check all the wiring between the switch and the motor and the motor and ground. If those are all good you might try replacing the switch.

Can't help with the 3rd item. Sorry.

We have a 2000 Real-Lite by Forest River. It has standard auto fuses and circuit breakers. All the fuses appear to be good, but one of the breakers we think is bad. We found 20/20 amp breakers to replace the 15/15, but I'm a little scared to try it because I am afraid of melting the wires.

I wouldn't replace a 15amp breaker with a 20amp, not because of melting wires but because you could fry whatever is at the other end of that breaker!

I did a search of my usual RV suppliers and 15amp breakers are a little rare! I was able to find one, however: NW RV Supply.

Don't know if that is the exact one you need, but hope that helps.
