What swing out brackets to you use?
I had my camper on a 2001 dodge 3500 DRW for years without problems I just purchased a 2017 dodge 3500 DRW. It is wider than the 2001 so the swing brackets that I had wouldn't clear the fenders. I put extensions on and the jacks now clear the fenders, but now when the jacks swing inward for travel, there is only 3/8 of an inch clearance with the truck cab on each side, requiring perfect alignment when loading. I fear that the camper will move a little bit and the jacks will end up hitting the truck. Are you seeing the same thing? |
