Everyone has a different opinion. You should add, what you plan to use them for. Nitto Grapler comes in many tread styles so no use steering you towards a street tire if you want off-road traction.

Here is a spec chart from Nitto for reference.

Hi!
I've had good luck with General Grabber A/Ts. Nearly 60k mi. so far and still in good shape. The A/T has a bit of bite to the tread, but isn't noisy or overly bumpy on pavement. On the half-tons, good ole Pep Boys Dakotas, made by Cooper worked just fine...
Good luck, Art

better for what? one of the best rated mud tires with the highest load rating is the hankook dyna pro mt that I currently use.also really good in wet snow, but my old bf Goodrich all terrain ta ko's were really stiff, almost back breakers. I don't think I would go really hard sidewall on an off road tire again with a camper.maybe too much rattle and and not enough flex.

I put these Cooper tires on my truck back in the spring!

I bought 10-PLY's. . . Best tire I have ever owned!

285/75 16E big o Bigfoot at's are great and what I run. They are rated at 3750 lbs at 80 lbs air pressure. They are tough tires, built by cooper for Big O.

I've run Nitto 305 70 17 E TerraGrapplers in the past. They were a good tire. But I would only get about 30,000 miles from them. Then on the last 25% of life they handled horribly.

Then I switched to a Bridgestone Dueler 315 70 17 E. I also liked this tire. I got about 45,000 miles out of them. But I can't find them any more.

So I just switched over to Super Swampers Votrac 35 12.5 17 E. So far I'm liking them. Seem to wear evenly (all though I screwed one of them up because of a bad alignment).

Spend a little time on Tire Rack web site. They have been my best source for information. Look at every thing they sell and read the comments. Chances are you will find what you need. I used Firestone Destination on a mid size truck and really liked them. What ever you do, get E's with the highest rating if your hauling a camper. Some people even use G's with special wheels but that may be more than you need. Tires are your weakest link, so be smart and buy the best you can afford.
