I can no longer get direct replacement for the 3 bulb marker light on my Lance camper. This goes in the center on the front of the camper. So I am looking at some of the general purpose lights that can be found at auto parts suppliers such as O'Reilly and NAPA. My question is how to attach it. The camper is fiberglass exterior and I suspect that it isn't just a matter of driving a screw into the fiberglass. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I just got a 2015 Silverado 3500HD DRW with the backup camera in the tailgate. I'd like to install a camera on the camper (Lance 992) and tie it into the backup system on the truck. My Chev dealer can get me a camera, and I know I can connect it to the truck where I disconnect the existing camera when I remove the tailgate, but what about actually mounting it to the camper. Has anyone done this?

Answer to my own question .... I called my dealer and he uses only Torqlift tie downs. They do not attach to the body in anyway like the Happijac do, so I should be good to go. We ordered the new truck yesterday; can't wait for it to get here

Has anyone mounted a camper on a 2015 Chev or GMC heavy duty truck?

I currently have a 2001 Ford F-350 and am planning upgrade to 2015 Chev 3500HD. The current tie down (Happijac) on the F-350 uses a "hook" in the end of the rear bumper.

The 2015 GM trucks have a step in each end of the rear bumper. I don't think the same style rear tie down can be used. Can someone give me advice for rear tie down with this truck?

Thanks!!
