propane stove, how does the oven work?

I can get the pilot light lit, but can not get the rest of the oven to work, is there something else I need to do? It is in a 85 perry valley camper.

After you light the pilot and turn the thermostat to a higher temperature does the pilot flame get larger? If it does and the burner does not light within a minute or so then the thermostat control valve is bad. If the pilot does not get larger when you turn up temp then the thermostat is bad. |
