Favorite Truck Camper(s): Lance
Type and Brand of Truck(s) Owned: Silverado 2500HD Duramax 4X4
Type of Tiedowns used: Happijac w/ turnbuckles
Truck and Camper Setup: 2005 truck w/ 1986 Lance 840 / 9.6 (camper was a freebie). No airbags needed. I may do that in the future. The truck handles fine. Will be using happijack brackets and turn buckles.

blink.gif Hey out there! I'm looking for some feedback here. What is the difference between Firestone and Airlift airbags? Which are better and why? I appreciate any help in this topic.

Firestone air bags on most applications are easier to install than Airlift.

Favorite Truck Camper(s): paid off one
Type and Brand of Truck(s) Owned: 02 Dodge quad cab dually 2wd
Type of Tiedowns used: homemade frame mounts with turnbuckles
Truck and Camper Setup: air lift bags, torklift super hitch 92 Coachmen 115

My only experience is with the Airlift brand, but it has been a great one.
I first ordered and installed on a 92 Chevy 3/4 ton, then removed and kept
them when I traded the truck off. Next truck was a Dodge dually, I called
Airlift and they sold me a set of mounting brackets for my new app, without
bags or hardware. Even faxed me new, correct installation instructions for the
Dodge. I really expected them to insist on selling a complete new kit, but
was pleasantly surprised with their willingness to help.
