I have a Garmin BC30, it's a wireless camera that uses my GPS as the display. I was cautious about wireless but it works pretty good although the image is a bit too wide-angle. It's hard to see very far behind you. Good for slow backing up but not much use for eyeballing traffic behind you... although the mirrors work pretty good for that. |

I'm in the same boat. I also bought a set of the Andersen levellers (I actually have the jack version for more height) but I also have second thoughts about using them on my wider truck tires. I'm currently using the tri-levellers which i believe are 8" across. |

you can't go by BTU as there are 13,5 a/c units that use less power than my 9200 unit. You need to find the amp draws. |

You cannot boondock at all in the national parks such as Banff and Jasper. There's lots of boondocking for free along the forestry trunk road. and areas just to the east of the parks. |

You also have to consider that you may have to add a spacer to the bed to clear the cab anyway, this is more common with older campers.. I think Ford cabs are taller so it may end up being just as high with the Ford. |

How do the panels handle hail and or ice and snow? Do you need to protect them in the winter somehow? |

I'm under too but not by much. I'll probably be a bit over when towing though. |

I tow a fifth wheel as well so I put an in-bed plug in by using a no-splice harness. I plug the camper into the in-bed plug and still have the bumper plug for my trailer. |
