Ditto to sidecar's first response. If you don't need a slide and can afford it -- consider the Northern Lite. I did a lot of research and chose theirs. There are many good quality campers out there.

[quote=jensenbreck,Jan 31 2018, 08:04 AM]HI,

I am considering a new 10.2 SE EX that I will live in during the week when I am working. I'll be in Northern Virginia, where it gets fairly cold and very humid depending on the month.

Would really appreciate any feedback from those of you that spend a lot of time in your campers about your experiences.

From what I can gather from reading the forums and YouTube, Northern Lite is prob one of the few TC's built to handle long term camping. Seems there are lots of issues with slides or construction on other brands.
Please help.
Thanks!

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

I am taking delivery of a 10.2 in March. Check out the youtube videos from West Coast Roller. He lived in his and shared a lot of good info via several videos.

I live in the Seattle area where, as you all know, it rains a lot. I don’t have access to covered storage at the moment. Would any of you recommend a cover? If so, what brand/material would you recommend? Thank you.

They are pretty nice but I didn’t feel they were worth the money. Tiny freezer, and some of the latches on cabinets were not intuitive. Many were broken at the show. I do like the metal roof though.

QUOTE(SidecarFlip @ Jan 27 2018, 12:39 PM)
If it was my truck, I have the bags installed anyway.  They do make for a more stable, less roll prone ride when cornering.  You have plenty of truck but it's always good to have that 'little extra', just in case.

Hey all, I’m having a NL 10-2 SE delivered in March. I have a 2016 Chevy 3500 DRW CC D/A 4x4. I’m told the camper will be around 3400 Lbs dry, so I’m figuring ~ 4200 wet and loaded. Does anyone have this setup or a similar wet weight? If so, did you need airbags to level? I may tow a cargo trailer as well but it shouldn’t have a high tongue weight. Thanks — just trying to decide if I should get the bags installed now, or wait and see.
