Down to either the FWC Hawk or the Hallmark EXC. I'm having trouble deciding which body material is better. Anyone have an opinion? Thanks. Great forum.

QUOTE(jopatco @ Jul 9 2013, 06:32 PM) Down to either the FWC Hawk or the Hallmark EXC. I'm having trouble deciding which body material is better. Anyone have an opinion? Thanks. Great forum. Well that would depend since both have their own advantages vs. disadvantages. Think about what and where you will be using this, Regular camping or will you be boondocking, Aluminum will have an advantage withh boondocking in the woods and trail camping off grid when you expect to have alot of close brushes with tree limbs and other foilage, Gel coat is ideal in low maintenance as well as looking good however the durability is questionable as for contact with foilage that will scrape and gouge the clearcoat. Just my 2 cents |

Thanks - I will encounter my share of "scrapes". But I see FWC has fiberglass as an option.
