Gotta new (to me) truck and new (to me) camper.

I've seen truck/camper combos with a cushion between the camper and the cab of the truck.

I'm not finding them online, so maybe I'm using the wrong terminology. Can anyone help me out?

What are they called? Where do you get them? And do they help protect the truck &/or the camper?

My Adventurer came with rather large plastic bumpers. I removed them and installed these: http://panther-rvproducts.com/Torklift-CB-...A7001-A7001.htm. They're a bit smaller so that I can keep the camper center of gravity as far forward as possible and provide at least a little cushion.
