Has anyone mounted a camper on a 2015 Chev or GMC heavy duty truck?
I currently have a 2001 Ford F-350 and am planning upgrade to 2015 Chev 3500HD. The current tie down (Happijac) on the F-350 uses a "hook" in the end of the rear bumper. The 2015 GM trucks have a step in each end of the rear bumper. I don't think the same style rear tie down can be used. Can someone give me advice for rear tie down with this truck? Thanks!! |

Answer to my own question .... I called my dealer and he uses only Torqlift tie downs. They do not attach to the body in anyway like the Happijac do, so I should be good to go. We ordered the new truck yesterday; can't wait for it to get here

Any reason you changed to the chevy from ford? Are you transferring your Lance to it? |
