Does anybody have experience or opinions regarding use of driveshaft disconnects (like Remco/Southwest Driveline Service products) that are used to flat-tow a vehicle that has an automatic transmission?
I had it on a Ford Bronco II many years ago. It was standard tranny but according to mfg it was not towable flat four. It was cable operated. I liked it ok.
As I am sure you know, there are many models that can be flat towed without a driveshaft disconnect, but if one of those is not to your liking, Remco makes excellent products with very solid reputations.
