Truck Camper Forum _ General Discussion _ Looking for help with tires / payload please !

We are new at truck camping, in fact just setting up our old truck. We have a 2006 Ram 4x4 mega cab SB dually. Unfortunately, the payload is low for a truck so stout! We want to mount an Arctic Fox 811 (has slide) and I believe they are about 2900 lbs dry! So we are tipping the payload scale over a tad and want to get the best tires that will help with control etc but especially be able to handle the weight of the unit. I have read some campers speak of getting 19.5 wheels with tires so they are rated at about 4000 lbs. Can someone please tell us if this would help us feel more secure with the weight issue. I know it's not going to get us into compliance but I'm hope control of the truck would be improved and that we won't have a tire blowout or wheel breakdown because of the weight. Would it help to get the 19.5 wheels... Suggestions please?
