I'm not part of the current fixation you speak of since my truck is an '03, but I am quite content with it and the Northern-Lite TC that it carries. |

I bought a Reese Titan hitch and their 42" extension to pull my open trailer that I haul my ATV or Harley on. The 42" extension has a tongue weight limit of 450 pounds according to the label. |

Get a horse stall mat from your local Tractor Supply Store (or equal) for ~$35 and put it in the bed of your truck for your TC to ride on. I haven't had the TC shift once since I did this last year. |

Did you already sell the Superhitch and camper tie-downs? Assuming it was/is installed on your GM? |
