Well that best thing you do is bring the camper to people who know how to repair camper and ask for their price and how long it will takes them to do it.

smile.gif We all read the horror stories of the various mechanical equipment we use routinely. I will defend my 2006 Rainier DS and state that all truck campers with slides will get out of kilter when not paying enough attention. I too have scraped an interior wall by not paying enough attention.
The situation has to do with the twist (leveling) between jacks.

Just watch after jacking and before sliding.

I just have a good time and enjoy every experience (good & bad)

As for that guy that says Host sucks; only one thing worse than being a loser, being a sore loser.

Happy Trails!

Good for you sir. This is a great hobby and not too difficult.
Sounds like you did very well for your first time.
May you have many good times.

That 350 Dually can haul the world on it's back. I too run a 350 Dually diesel. I have a Host Rainier double slide.
For cold weather camping I say stick to a hard side. Major considerations are internal amenities which includes eating, personal hygiene, temperature control, lighting, etc.
I thought when I first purchased I would use it around a dozen times per year. My track record is going to double that. We are having a blast
Have fun!

I had the same type problem on my Host. Ended up purchasing a new remote and it was the problem.
I am guessing the circuit board in the remote goes bad after time. Remember, electrically, the remote gets the most use of the system.

Good luck
