All the parts came off a 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 3500. I sold the lance and don't need any of the equipment. Located in Freeport Florida but we could meet halfway on a Saturday or work something out. Please call or text (six one six)55O-9859 Thanks |

I??¢â??¬â??¢m new to the site, and looking for some any advice, before I purchase a camper. My setup is a 06 Dodge Ram 3500, 5.9, Short Bed, 6sp, with bags. Which, according to the sheet my truck is able to handle a payload of 2310lbs. I have to relocate for my job here soon, so I will be pulling an 16-20ft enclosed trailer. When I get there I want to live in the camper for a few months. So I am trying to decide what route would be best. I like the space of a short bed slide out like the Arctic Fox 811. This would still leave room for a trailer, but weighs an estimated 2900lbs. Or give up some floor space and go with a hard side,, like a Lance 865 which would be about 2K lbs. Are the slides really worth the extra weight, strain on the truck, and extra precautions to ensure a safer ride? It looks like no matter I??¢â??¬â??¢ll be over the payload capacity of the truck. Any advice would be appreciated. Especially from someone who has stayed long term in a TC. Any particular model that sounds ideal for me, or to check out. Thanks again |
