Rodg you did a nice job on the camper, how much weight do you think you added to the camper with all the bracing. I was thinking about using a biscuit joiner for all the brasing. I dont really want to go out and get a new 1" stapler for the framing. I really need to keep my camper light, its going on a superscrew F150 so im looking at around 1200lbs. I just started bidding on doors and windows now

hello i'm new to the forum and i read what you have, and i bought a superscrew with a 5.5 foot bed and i really miss my truck camper. So ive been trying to find a camper that will fit my truck, well they dont make one for our size bed. SO i have decieded to make one that will fit my truck, I have never done this befor but will be making it. I'm lucky that I was into house remodling for years and have all the tools. Ive been doing alot of searching on the web for this and not many have done thier camper. but the ones who have did a great job. I want my camper to look like it was store bought. Im in the process now so it will take awile to do. I have started getting all the materials i need. I'm spending alot of time on ebay and at my desk working out the plans. I do alot of looking on the web getting measurements and ideas from other peoples pictures. woohoo, ill keep ya all informed.
