unsure.gif I have bought a 93 viking truck camper, the 080. My concern is that I also have a 5th wheel, so I have the rails in the bed. I am wondering what I can do. Should I build a sub floor to go over the rails so the viking will sit on a level surface?

I am concerned I have made a bad decision in purchasing this camper, that I won't be able to use it.

Help.

I had the same issue and another. I had to raise my TC up in order to ensure proper clearance between the truck roof and camper, i took (2) 4"x4" x8' pressure treated boards notched them out to fit over the 5th wheel rails and ran them length ways int he bed. So far seems to have worked great and also made for some bonus storage underneath the camper when in the bed.

I took a sheet of 1in sheet of plywood and cut it into 3 peices to fit between the rails 1 in front of the rails 1 in between the rails and 1 at the end. If your camper has length ways rails this should work.
