Is is possible to carry two adult bicycles on the ladder of our Lance 1181 ? I heard this somewhere, but can't find any details on how it is done.
Thanks for any input anyone has.

I would not recommend it. I mounted a 2" receiver on the front of my GMC 2500 HD and use a regular hitch type bike rack. It works great, I carry 4 bikes and have never had a problem. I did cut about 4" off the bottom of the main rack tobe and I pull a few seats off to get me below the hood so no view is blocked. Night driving is no problem as the headlights shine right through the spokes.

Thank you for your reply. We just checked with our Lance dealer & they did not recommend it either. They said the lever action of the bike rack being fastened to the ladder could cause the ladder to twist. We will go with the front mount receiver. Glad to hear that it works so well ! Happy biking !
