Hi. I'm new to this list, and truck campers in general. I own a 1993 Ford F350 Crew Cab 2WD Long Bed Single Rear Wheel 7.3 non-turbo Diesel. I want a relatively lightweight (< 2000 lbs.) Aerodynamic camper with a shower and A/C. The last two requirements are from the wife. Considering the price of fuel, I want to keep the camper affordable on trips, primarily from North Texas to Colorado and points West. Looks like a Starcraft will fit the bill, but I have found an old Avion Aluminum shell in good condition. I want to spend less than $7500.
Any comments or suggestions are welcome, as are recommendations. It is possible that I will also tow a boat at some time, and I plan brake enhancements to increase weight capability. Thanks in Advance for your comments.
