Hi folks, I'm new here. I don't have a camper yet but I've been looking. I have narrowed my search down to the Citation Supreme 9'6" model. I like the floor plan and I understand it's a good winter camper. I can't afford new so I'll be looking at used campers. My plan was to get one that was from about 2002-2006 or so. Since I narrowed down my search I've only been able to find two 1998 models. I have studied the PDF files on the 2005 and 2007 models but haven't been able to find info on these older ones. Sorry for the long winded intro, so here are my questions.
Are the specs the same on a 1998 compared to the 2005/2007 models?
I'm mostly interested in the winter package differences. Is there any differences with the thermal windows, construction methods (thermal break), fantastic fans or the heated & insulated basement compartment doors? Both of these campers are a ferry ride away so I wanted to be sure before I went.
Also, what should I look out for with these campers? Has there been any problems that keep popping up? I know to check around the jacks for cracks and the seals on the roof but is there anything else? I really appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks a bunch!
