Just picked up an air conditioner for our TC. or anyone who installed their on AC how did you get it up on the roof? I thought of sliding it up an extension ladder and un loading it from the ladder.

Thats how I have done it before

I used a 6 ft wooden step ladder and screwed a piece of ply to the top of it, just wide enough to hold the back of the A/C. Tied a rope through the frame and threw the rope up on the roof. Me and a neighbor lifted onto the top of the ladder and I went on the roof. Neighbor then pressed up the A/C and I pulled with the rope and up she came without scratching the side. Pretty easy after you think about it. Need two people to be safe.
