I have two 60 pound kayaks. Any idea how to get them on the roof by yourself? They're just to heavy to walk up a ladder with and I've tried pushing them on from the rear but the top is 7 feet high and they just go straight up. Tying them on is now problem. Getting them there and off again is.

Could you rig a pully system so you can hang the kayaks in the garage and just lower them onto your TC? You could also use a small rope hoist over a tree branch to do the same. We use one for deer hunting and they work great. I think they are around $20 from Northern Tool.
