My TC has a Dometic refrigerator that runs on AC, battery or LP Gas. I haven't used it on gas yet because I'm not sure how it works. There is a refrigerator ventilation fan switch. Does this need to be on all the time? How do you know when to use it? Thanks.

Your fridge should have a knob to turn to place it in gas mode. Hold down the gas button and hit the striker until the pilot lites, then keep holding the gas button down for about 10 to 15 seconds and the pilot should stay lit. Then turn the knob to what ever setting you want. The fan should be auto. All it does is circulate the air over the coil for the fridge and make it cool better. You don't have to have it on but it helps. After awhile it should turn off and on auto. Hope this mkes sense. The fridge will work on battery but will draw a LOT of power. I only use this setting while driving.

Hey thanks Spanky. That was real helpful. I didn't have any idea how to run it. Thanks again.

I have a dometic 3-way as well, no fan switch though. That may be because my TC is a hard side. There is lighting instructions right inside the door and on Dometic's website.
