I'm trying to hook up my Coleman Mach 13,500 AC to run from the inverter I have in the camper. I will run now from it when hooked up to the batteries, however that is short term for sure. I have a generator with a muffler on it, its reasonably quiet, but wouldn't be cool in a Walmart parking lot or some other places. I was thinking of putting a high output generator on the truck, according to my calculations at 250 amp one should work, although I'm not sure at idle speed yet, still working that side. I think I can figure the juice part out ok, but my big question is the exhaust from the truck if I left it running. Is there an easy way to hook up a flex hose to it to move it further out, how long should it be. Any other concerns if I was sleeping in the Bronco (pop up) while the truck was running? I'm comfortable about the security side.

At a old car parts swap meet some guys left their generator run all night outside their RV home. Next day some guys camping next door in their box truck were found dead of CO2. New rule installed no generators after 10pm. Please be careful.
