18 months ago, I bought a Nissan Frontier Crew cab, long bed, 4WD. 4 months ago I put an 800 lb. popup camper on it. Now the truck lurches front to back at hihgway speed - like I've experienced in other trucks when I top a hill and let off the gas. It does it six or seven times then smoothes out for 10 or 15 seconds, then does it again - over and over, on the flat, with cruise control on or off. Recommendations have included air bags, Timbren suspension enhancement, Torklift stableload, and helper springs.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what would work best to smooth out the ride? |

Have you checked where the Center of Gravity lines up? It should be in front of the rear wheels. If the COG is behind the rear wheels that could be the problem. If this is the case then try loading the camper contents as far forward as possible. this should help with stability.
You may also need to beef up your shocks. The stock ones are likely too light wieght to deal with the camper load properly. Of course air bags etc will help level out the truck but shocks are important too. |

The fact that it comes and goes indicates harmonics....
I agree with shifting the load inside the camper around, but for different reasons. |

Hello guys..You must change the front shocks of his truck some time shocks are in very old that's why wheel lineament problem created.Wheel lineament must check out by the mechanics.Some times rod of the handling also create the problem after that i hope your problem is solved.
