Hi all,
So I am a new owner of a camper in general I got a 1974 Snowy Mountain for free so I couldn't pass it up. It's old but it suits me just fine. I do have some questions. I fixing the electrical hook-up since the last owner had the female connector of the flat 4 on the camper so I cut it off along with the three lengths of spliced wire to the original wires and still couldn't get it to light up. I was wondering if anyone knew if back in 74 the lights ran in a closed circuit and if it could just be a bad bulb and also if anyone knew color orientation of the camper wires. I know I could probably search for hours trying to find it myself but I am limited to coffee shop internet for the time being. I am driving to Georgia this upcoming week from Montana. Is it illegal for the lights to be inoperable since the camper really doesn't block any of the truck signals. Any information is helpful I am a newb at RVs. Thanks -Deedsy |

As long as your truck tail, signal and brake lights are not blocked you are legal.

Thanks that's good enough for me to just leave it alone for now.
