Favorite Truck Camper(s): Still deciding
Type and Brand of Truck(s) Owned: 2016 GMC3500dualyy4x4diesel
Type of Tiedowns used: Torklift with Fastguns
Truck and Camper Setup: The plan will utilize a 3500 GMC with a 11 or 12' TC with a full compliment of Torklift hitch components and tie downs. Stable loads if needed will be installed.

Congratulations on your purchase, I too have taken the plunge into the world of truck campers. My rig is not set up yet so I cannot answer your question but I am sure the manufacture can. I also feel as you do about the cost of fast guns and locks but because I plan on removing my 1140 often I will use them. Looks, security and speed all played apart of my decision. I also plan on using there new Talons. There advertised strength along with weight and there resistance to rust and corrosion helped me justify the added expense. Take a look at Mikes web site, Truck Camper Adventure and check out the reviews. There is an owners review on the 2015 Arctic Fox 811. There is also an article on worth while options that TC owners should consider. The shower head and the cat heater will be added to my rig asap. Have fun in your new rig.

Type and Brand of Truck(s) Owned: 2001 F350 4x4 extended cab 7.3
Type of Tiedowns used: Torklife
Truck and Camper Setup: F350 Air Bags supper hitch to pull 21 foot full cabin Parker boat. New to truck camping 2016 bought the camper 2014 be went back overseas for two years so it just sat in the drive way. Camper is 2001 Laredo Alpainelite

I have a 2001 F350 with DRW and put the fast guns on I like them easy to use but does get in the way of the gas cap so having the fats gun makes filling fuel easier.
