The slide on our 2004 Snow River has gotten off track. All posts from previous years when Bob Mehrer was still alive said to extend the slide half way, then pry if up to nudge it back onto the track. I am reluctant to extend the slide half way as it makes a distinct grinding noise with each movement of the slide, indicating that the gears are being damaged. Has anyone tried jacking up the slide with a bottle jack from the inside of the slide, under the seating? Any other ideas?

Fixed it! Bolts under slide had become loose after 13 years of use. Tightened them, assisted the slide to extend halfway, then use pry bar to align it.
