I want to get an Amerigo truck camper. the owner thinks it a 1979 Does any on know how much it weighs?

I tried to add pictures but it didn't work. I guess i don't know how.

Any Chevy 1500 series pickup will have a limited cargo weight, even more so if it's 4 wheel drive. If I were you, I'd look around for a used P'up like Nobody and I have, preferrably one with no overhang, That will be more suitable for your truck.

Any hardside in your truck will be at the very least a 'white knuckle' driving experience and stopping it will also be 'white knuckle' if you can safely stop it. Your truck components aren't up to the weight of a hardside, not matter how good a 'deal' it is.
