Truck and Camper Setup: 2000 Lance 1350 with a 200 Dodge Ram 3500

I recently bought a 2000 Lance 1130 in excellent condition, except for a minor electrical problem. The overhead vent is on a 10 amp circuit, and at the fuse panel this circuit is listed as fan/cooler.
When I bought the camper and got it home I discovered the overhead fan(fantastic vent fan I think) would not work. It had a four position on off switch, a manual turn knob for opening the rooftop cover, and a thermostat knob. I discovered the circuit at the fuse box was missing a 10 amp fuse, and after inserting a fuse the fan operated fine. A week or so later on a trip I discovered the fan was again inoprrative. After checking the fuse, discovered it had blown. When inserting a new fuse, even with the fan toured off, the fuse immediately blows. Does anyone know what the cooler is that's listed on my fuse panel for that circuit? Everything else in the camper seems to be working correctly, however something is causing that circuit to overload?

Thanks for any help in advance.
PS-when talking to Lance customer service they were no help, couldn't furnish a wiring diagram, and suggested I take it to a reputable RV dealership for help.

Disconnect the wires at the fan itself, then ohm out the wires to make sure the wiring is good. If the check ok then its a problem with the fan.
