Has anyone made a new table top? The one Hallmark used in my 2004 is simply too big. It gets in the way of the dinette and surely using a single pedestal for a support is nothing other than a way to cut cost. What a pain!
I can work in wood, but am looking for other ideas. Steve |

Steve Purchase a second pedestal mount and use that to mount the new table top. It will make it much more stable. |

I hate pedestal mounts, They take up too much leg room, I changed them out on every RV we have owned. Maybe okay with longer wider campers, but on an 8 foot Hallmark, every inch is crucial. Steve |

Take a jigsaw to the top and refinish the edges. Use a Lagun swing away mount (NorthStar sells them on their website along with their campers).

I want it to not only pivot but also slide in and out and I want to be able to change sizes by hinging sides. Hallmark uses heavy molded table. No way to cut it down. Looked at the Lagun, but it is not versatile enough.
I might be able to use the Lagun design and modify the mount. It doesn't do enough in its standard form. |
